I looooove Christmas!

My hoomans came home early bearing this big bag that was emitting this really yummy smell. Before I could stick my nose in, Dad put the darn thing in the fridge! I thought I knew what it was but didn't want to get my hopes high. I did get this stick thingy to chew on though. See how intensely I look, staring at it?

Big nice bag full of goodies

Concentrating hard...

Finally got my paws on it!

They then brought me for a loooooong walk, making me feel absolutely contended. When we got back, the hoomans began to make a lot of banging noises in the kitchen. I wanted to hide in the loo but Mumsy told me the wash was on so I had no choice but to stay as far from my hoomans as I could. After awhile yummy smells pervaded the kitchen. My hoomans were cooking! Thank goodness they didn't burn the kitchen down! I did enjoy smelling what they cooked though and thought they might share some of their Christmas dinner with me, but they didn't. Selfish blokes!

Near midnight the hoomans took the big bag out from the fridge and proceeded to prepare my dinner. Yes, my guess was correct! My hoomans bought me a Christmas dinner consisting of chicken spa-getty, beef patties and lamb pies. For desserts, I had a cookie! It was my first time eating these spa-getty and I couldn't get the hang of it. These things kept slithering out of my mouth. You can see the mess for yourself and I am sure you can imagine my hoomans' reaction. They didn't yell at me though (I think they are trying to be nice so that Santa Cos will bring them something) and I had fun eating these slithering stuff.

Hurry up! My tummy is rumbling!

I swear I did not drink!

What?! Another peekture?

My dessert... Slurp..

Look at that mess?!

Let's not forget about the presents! I finally can open them. As you can see, I went totally crazy opening them! I looooove them all.

Urgh! More peektures!

Here's me opening the presents my hoomans bought! It's a squeaky toy! I was absolutely mad for it!

And next is the present I got from Auntie Rachel (Dexter's Mum). It is my fav rawhides!

There are more! I got to rip open Benny's Ma's present! It is a rope toy, which I proceeded to have a tug of war battle with Mumsy. I lost cos Dad showed me another presents which I promptly let go of the rope.

And lastly was the present from Barn2, Clare and Marky's Ma, Auntie Lorna! I needed help from Mumsy this time though cos my teeth were starting to ache a bit. I got a red bow tie. Handsum or not?

I love Christmas. Don't you wish everyday was Christmas? I hope you guys had as much fun as I did!

Corgis Christmas Gathering - Part II

Here are all the peektures taken during our party. Mumsy was so busy taking photos and she took a grand total of 83 peektures in 2 hrs!

The 3 lovely shetland sheepdogs (or collies). Mumsy love the one in the 3rd peekture.

Sweet lady ain't she?

Benny and Clare looking at the new arrivals.
Benny welcoming them into his shop!

Clare getting a rub before her bout with Lucky.

Lucky gets a hug from her Granny...

... and a massage from Auntie Zoe before her bout with Clare.

Is that why Lucky did better today?

BFF again... I just don't understand gals!

Dexter and I having some quiet time together...

Here's me whispering something to Dexter...

FOOD! As you can see, Benny always knows when food is being served.

Everybody is tucking in except me.. Food doesn't interest me.

Big Monty.... Need I say more?

Here's Monty trying to pretend to be a soft toy. He is definitely very cuddlable!

How could the day be complete without a peekture of Mr Darth Vader?

A group peekture, from left: Lucky, Clare, Me, Benny and Dexter.

Sleepy Clare missing out all the fun.

My loot!

Can you spot them under the Christmas twree?

Corgis' Christmas gathering - Part I

Yesterday was one of the best days I had so far! I was good and so Mumsy bundled into the car and brought me to the Weekly Crazy Corgis Wednesday! Except this wheek's gathering is a bit more special. It is our sorta Christmas meet up, with presents and all!

Auntie Zoe's shop was all decked up with beautiful Christmas decorations. When I got there, Clare and Dexter (Benny is the resident dog so he IS always there) were already there having fun! I immediately bounded over and decided that Dexter was my BFF! That means: I wanna hump him! Mumsy wasn't too please with my behaviour and I got punished with my naughty collar. Auntie Rachel had to hold on to me for most of the gathering cos I kept trying to hump Dexter and follow him around. But we did manage to have some wrestling time together and I have to say, don't underestimate Dexter! He might look small but he is definitely capable of holding his own.

Here's a veedeo of Dexter and I wrestling! The two smaller pups that came bounding over and ended up wrestling too were the much talked about Lucky (red/white) and Clare the Terrorist (tri-colour)!

Clare isn't called the Terrorist for no reason! She bites Auntie L quite badly! Even her brother Barn2 has to put up with her and that says a lot. Barn2 is extremely scary to young puppies like me. Benny and I are petrified of him... His nickname is Darth Vader! *Shudders* Lucky, though is very sweet and timid, or so I thought. She might have eaten too much gd food yesterday cos she was extremely feisty! She managed to beat Clare down into submission, till Clare cried murder!

The 2 feisty gals fighting it out! Looks like Lucky is having the upperhand!

What was Benny doing all these while? Benny was hiding! We finally learnt what Benny is afraid off: squeaky toys! Uncle Eugene (Lucky's dad) brought us squeaky toys for Christmas and once the hoomans press the toys, Benny ran and hide! But to give him credit, he came out once the hoomans stopped teasing him. He was rather busy yesterday as in addition to the 4 crazy corgis in the shop, there were 3 lovely shetland sheepdogs (or collies, Mumsy can't be sure). Mumsy was in love with one of them. She kept saying that that shetland was extremely sweet natured and didn't struggle when she hugged her. I think my Mumsy was trying to tell me something, but I can't figure it out. But when Benny had some free time, he came over and we had a bout of wrestling too! As you can see, he had the upperhand.

We all froze (well, Benny and I) when one of the hoomans told Auntie L that Barn2 had finish school and was waiting outside! The hoomans decided to bring us to US Doggie Bakery to smell some of the yummy food that was baking. My stingy Mumsy didn't buy me any treats! Hmmmppfff! Anyway while we were there, we met another corgi named Monty. Monty is, erm, well, very well built! Mumsy loved him though and kept taking the chance to cuddle him while she could.

Here's a veedeo of Monty...

The younger puppies were more subdued at the bakery. Clare was trying her best not to fall asleep but she failed! Mumsy thought it was rather hilarious to see Clare trying her best to fight sleep! Here's the cute veedeo of Clare struggling to keep awake!

It was a wonderful day! I had lotsa presents that I have since put them under the Christmas twree... I can't stop admiring them though and can't wait to rip them open! I think this post is long enough... I shall put all the photos into another post...

Of puke and presents...

Lately I have been leaving my hoomans little surprises when they get home from work or when they wake up in the morning. I have been puking my breakfast and dinner out! Physically I feel great, can't wait to run an extra mile or jump to get my bones but my food always find a way out of my tummy and onto the floor. The weird thing is I have been consistently finishing my Primal mixed keebles for the whole wheek (so that Santa Cos will gimme a present!) and yet I am puking it up... Mumsy is looking at me in a worried manner and I fear I have to go and visit Doc Dog soon...

On a separate matter, my hoomans were wrapping presents for my doggie frens last night! I went wild when they showed me what they got for my frens and they had no choice but to keep me in the kitchen while they wrap the presents all up! I want them for myself!!!

Here's a photo of the presents! Mumsy said if I am good today she MIGHT bring me to Auntie Zoe's tomorrow!

My first present!

Look what came in the mail last night?!

Oooh I couldn't wait to open it and once I got my paws on it, I immediately tried to rip it open. Mumsy had to get me settled down to take this shot. And to my disappointment, she said she will leave it under the big Christmas twree until Christmas Day! SIGH!!! I am dying to find out what is the lump in the envelope!

See my tail wagging over time?

Oops I forgot to mention that the gift was from Auntie Zoe and Benny! Thanks a lot! Mumsy will drop by your place to drop off your presents!

The big blinking trwee...

My hoomans put up this big thing a couple of wheeks back and I wasn't allowed to help. The reason being I would spend my time chewing on it and swallowing those glittery balls instead of helping them.. Which is true, I suppose. Anything is better than those yucky keebles.

Mumsy explained to me that it is a Christmas trwee... Christmas trwees only appear in December and they all come nicely decked out! She also explained that Christmas is a time where people (and dogs) exchange presents with each other and that if I am good, some hooman called Santa Cos will come and give me a present!

So every night, when I get to run around in the house, I will check under the Christmas trwee to see if any presents came for me. Sad to say, there is none so far. Sigh... So I have resorted to looking for presents that I want and leaving them on this screen in hope that my hoomans will buy me the right stuff. Take a look at these yummy food! Furrytreats' pie and pineapple tarts look absolutely yummy! Doggybitez and Greedy Pet Bakery look good too! And if I want something healthy I can always count on No Bones About It... Of cos there is always US Doggie Bakery to depend on if all else fails. Wonder if Mumsy will get me something from these places for my barkday! Or at the very least for Christmas!

Meal times

Anything is better than eating... I hate meal times. I would rather explore the already well-known area of the kitchen than eat my dinner.

My hoomans are fighting a losing battle. They have relented and now I have a piece of Primal's raw lamb nugget mixed with my keebles during meal times... I started wolfing my breakfast and dinner really quickly when they introduced it to me but I am starting to be sick of it. So it is back to pacing around the kitchen during meal times and driving them nuts with my lack of interest in food.

I wonder what will be the next thing they will mix into my yucky keebles after I stop eating my Primal-mixed meals...

PS: My doggie frens, if you want my dinners, tell me how to mail it to you! You can definitely have my yucky keebles!

Mindless activity

Another rainy evening so it means no walk for me.

I was bored enough to play Fetch with my hoomans for half an hour! I think I ran up and down the length of the kitchen a hundred times without being sick of the game. In the end Dad was grossed out with my endless supply of saliva, so he stopped the game. Darn!

Please please stop raining! I want the big globe of light back so that I can go out for my walks!

On a separate note, I visited Fee's blog and read about this horrible, horrible man! Please sign this petition so that he can NEVER EVER come near a dog EVER again!

*Scratch scratch*

I loooove my hoomans scratching me. One bad thing about having short limbs is that you tend to miss quite a bit of area when you wanna scratch this itchy spot somewhere behind you head. Reaching it is possible but I rather have my hoomans doing it for me.

This is how I get my scratches. Usually my hoomans will be sitting on the floor, reading their books or having a conversation and I walk up to them surreptitiously. I just flop next to them and instinctively their hands will come towards me and start to scratch me!

This morning was the same. Mumsy was having her breakfast (I tried to jump for her bread) when I flopped beside her. She started to scratch me all over unconsciously, but after awhile she noticed that I was twisting and turning my body to get her to scratch the places I wanted. She looked at me with this amused expression before hollering for Dad to take some photos of me in ultimate bliss.

Don't I look like I am absolutely enjoying it?

Scratch under my right ear please

A bit more to the right...

AHHHH..... That's the place

Yes yes yes....

Don't forget under my chin!

Of course, I show my appreciation by snuggling in between my hooman's legs (and get free pets at the same time!). Dad wasn't too happy after this above peekture was taken becos he had FUR all over him!

One rainy evening...

The weather has been pretty sucky recently. I absolutely hate thunderstorms... Mumsy is laughing at me while I type this cos she thinks I am a big chicken (like Benny?) during storms. I don't know what's so wrong about practising some self preservation! What I am talking about? Why hiding when you hear the loud crash of thunder!

If my hoomans are with me, I would try to hide behind them. But both of them are rather skinny so they don't really offer me much shelter. If I am in my hidey-hole, I will hide between the white throne and the wall. If I am in the kitchen, I run to the loo to hide under the sink! My hoomans don't like me doing that cos most of the time the loo's floor is wet and I will get my fur wet if I plonk down under the sink.

Anyway the last couple of weeks have been rather wet and my hoomans can't bring me out for my usual walks. So to get rid of my pent up energy, my Daddy played some games with me! I used to lose to him in such games when I was younger cos I am (if you haven't noted) very short. Now that I have grown bigger, I am starting to beat him at such games!

Here's a veedeo of one of these games. Dad tends to turn pale in the face after a few bouts of this but I am always raring to go again! I beat him in this veedeo and you can even hear his loser cry!

Enjoy!

Flying corgi!

Someone gave Mumsy the link to this amazing corgi and now she made me watch the damn veedeo over and over again! She is trying to get me to memorise what that corgi is doing, in the hope that I can follow his footsteps! Why's up with parents? Why do they constantly need to compare their child to other hooman's children?

Anyway that is Monty, a Welsh Pembroke Corgi like me. But he definitely runs much much faster than I. I would probably get bored with the jumping and would rather much prefer to sniffing other (gals) doggies' butts.

Anyway I got my grimy paws on Mumsy's metal and did some virtual digging. I found lots more of such corgis doing these weird stuff! Jumping, running through tunnels and such. I wonder what their hoomans are using to bribe them to do such stunts. If my hoomans feed me the crap I am getting, I won't even move my ass!

Anyway enjoy the veedeos. I have finally graduated from school and I am proceeding to agility classes (with my brother, Chester YAY!) this coming wheek. Wish me luck!

Living like a "superstar"

I attempted to act like a superstar one day last wheek. Afterall, hoomans (especially mine) like to take photos of us doggies. Sometimes they can be so annoying, sticking their cameras into our faces when we don't want them to... I have christened them bugbug-razzi as they are as annoying as bugs!

So I started out standing on staircase landing, waiting to be sure all eyes were on me before I made my descent. Of cos my hooman bugbug-razzis had to take some shots of me preening and posing there.

When I finally do get down to the first floor, I make sure the camera is still on me and that my every move is being recorded down. My Mumsy said that it is like being Bean-ney Spears (I think she meant Baked Beans!), where every move the Bean-ney Spears makes, cameras will pop and flash. Bean-ney Spears drives crazily while I run crazily!

When I am eating, the bugbug-razzis continue to pester me for more photos. So much so that I lost my appetite and turned away. Eating is so unglam, yet they still wanna take peektures of me making a mess during meal times. No wonder all the superstars develop food disorders!

When I am out playing and getting dirt all over, the cameras follow! I think this bugbug-razzi has to change her camera! It is a shot that doesn't do me justice. Can't see my sexy silhouette because of the blurred edges!

Here's another shot of me with my bodyguard. I am trying to run and hide from the pesky bugbug-razzis while my skinny good-for-nothing bodyguard takes a leisure stroll beside me. I am gonna fire that guy!

These bugbug-razzis also take unflattering shots of me when I am not noticing! I don't know what my publicist is doing, allowing such ugly peektures of me to be published! I am gonna fire her too! Don't you think my butt looks fat in the second peekture? They should airbrush the peektures like what they do for Mimi Carey!

I got sick of the sub standard peektures and decided to give them my best smile, in the hope that all future publicity peektures will be of the same good quality as this one.

Being a superstar is tiring. I don't think I am cut out for such a life. I don't know how Bean-ney Spears does it, but I would recommend being a doggie is so much better than being a supersta

Don't you agree?
